In August while surfing the net I found a site with Van Auken in it, sent an e-mail and soon Bonnie Fletcher Eggert
Blgert@aol.com and I were sharing ancestors and the
present life. Her 4th great grandmother was Lydia Van Auken who married a
Fletcher and my 3rd great grandmother was Margaret Pricilla Van Auken who married Charles Brink. These ladies were sisters!!
Bonnie just happen to be coming to Florida in October to visit a friend in Orange Park, about 10 miles
from my home in Jacksonville.... Fast forward, Bonnie and I spent several hours
together at my home this past Monday. We are both readers and quilters also and have
a lot in common, how sweet it was. The digital photo was taken in my back yard. -- Marge
